Things We Must Do to During This Crisis
May we as a Church Family continue to be a place where Jesus is Lord, Everyone is Loved, and No One Stands Alone.
We must take care of our church family- John 13:34-35, 1 Peter 4:8-10.
We are obligated to love each other. Our ministries must focus on extending love and support to everyone. Make sure you check on your Birth Month members, pew partners, and ministry team members, etc.
We must reach new people. – Matt. 28:19-20, Acts 6:7
We have to continue to attract and engage new people. Encourage those who are fearful to trust the Lord. Share our virtual worship experiences with them. Offer prayer for them and their families. Kindness will go a long way in reaching people for Christ.
We must be good stewards- 1 Corinthians 4:2
We must continue to be good stewards over everything God has given us. Let’s make a renewed commitment during this time of crisis. A crisis is prime time to be generous to the Lord’s house. There are many who will look to the church for help and assistance during this time. Let’s display an increased effort of generosity and use this time to get better and not decline in our giving.
We must worship, pray, and stay in the Word of God
Worship: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Psalm 150
Take advantage of all of our virtual Bible Studies and Worship experiences. Spend time at home in worship. Listen to your favorite Christian/Gospel music and spend more time with The Lord.
Pray: If My people who are called by my name…..2 Chronicles 7:14
Join the Prayer Conference Call each day at 6am: (425) 436-6260- Access Code: 7772035#
Remember to stay prayerful throughout the day. Spend more time in prayer with your family and loved ones. Remember the church and stay sensitive to the voice of the Lord.
Stay In The Word: The Word of God is quick and powerful. Hebrews 4:12
We will have Bible reading plans available on our website. Take time to read the Book of Psalms, the Gospels, etc. This is the time to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you more and more through the Word of God. God wants to speak to you through the scriptures.
